Jane F. Cox, Principal

Jane brings a wealth of real-world experience to general management consulting and leadership development, which helps clients strategically position themselves for improved performance and steady growth in an increasingly competitive marketplace. She focuses on the areas of organizational change, leadership, and chief executive and executive team development. Her academic background in public speaking, gender  communication and small group dynamics has served as a solid platform for building teams and successfully growing the investment of internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to establishing Eno River Consulting, Jane served as President/CEO of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, a $64 million dollar not-for-profit corporation. During her nine-year tenure, the Food Bank increased its distribution of food by nearly 400% and increased its revenue stream by over 600%. Jane was inducted into Triangle Women in Business in 2002 and became an Eisenhower Fellow in 2003. During that year, she traveled to Australia and New Zealand with the Fellowship for two months to examine, among other issues, how collaboration between the private sector, government and non-governmental organizations lessens gaps in communities, regions, states and nations.

Jane holds a BA and an MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
