Jane F. Cox, Principal
Jane brings a wealth of real-world experience to general management consulting and leadership development, which helps clients strategically position themselves for improved performance and steady growth in an increasingly competitive marketplace. She focuses on the areas of organizational change, leadership, and chief executive and executive team development. Her academic background in public speaking, gender communication and small group dynamics has served as a solid platform for building teams and successfully growing the investment of internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to establishing Eno River Consulting, Jane served as President/CEO of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, a $64 million dollar not-for-profit corporation. During her nine-year tenure, the Food Bank increased its distribution of food by nearly 400% and increased its revenue stream by over 600%. Jane was inducted into Triangle Women in Business in 2002 and became an Eisenhower Fellow in 2003. During that year, she traveled to Australia and New Zealand with the Fellowship for two months to examine, among other issues, how collaboration between the private sector, government and non-governmental organizations lessens gaps in communities, regions, states and nations.
Jane holds a BA and an MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Courtenay Bailey, Senior Consultant
Courtenay has more than fifteen years of experience with an array of nonprofit organizations in numerous capacities, including Development and Executive Director, Major Gifts Officer, Grants Officer and Board Member. This 360-degree perspective allows Courtenay to offer comprehensive counsel to all of her clients. Her expertise lies in program development, major gifts, donor relations, membership and annual giving campaigns, capital campaigns, lobbying, board management and grant-writing.
Courtenay holds a BA in English and Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Denver, and certification from The Grantsmanship Institute.
Amy Boiselle FitzGerald, MSW, Senior Consultant
Amy has more than twenty years of direct fundraising experience, raising millions of dollars for health, education, and visual and performing arts organizations in North Carolina and the D.C. area. Her expertise lies in capital and endowment campaigns, annual giving, board development, donor cultivation, special events management and major gifts. In addition to her fundraising work, she has direct experience in Human Services, having worked in foster care and adoption and with at-risk youth. Her unique professional background offers clients exceptional fundraising expertise combined with an in-depth understanding of the needs of human service agencies.
Amy holds a BA in Communications and a Masters in Social Work from North Carolina State University.
Kathryn Clarke, Program Assistant
Kathryn has worked for a variety of North Carolina nonprofits over the course of her career—in land conservation, performing arts and mental health. Along with her expertise in database management, fundraising reports, written communication, planning and organization, she possesses a keen understanding that efficiency, accuracy and clarity are integral to successful nonprofit performance.
Kathryn holds a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Tonya Lorandeau Willett, Program Assistant
Tonya has a wealth of experience in all aspects of office administration, including customer service, email marketing and database management. She also has a heart for service as an avid animal rescue volunteer. Tonya is a vital member of the ERC team and provides a strong foundation for our consultants’ work.
Tonya earned her Associates Degree in Office Systems/Technology and Administration from Wake Technical Community College.
